The Wolfson FBLA chapter was originally chartered on November 9, 1971. It was reactivated during the 2016-2017 school year when Samuel Wolfson High officially welcomed their first cohort of students under its new dedicated magnet status. This also coincided with the school's rebrand to emphasize the new focus on leadership and advanced (college prep) studies.
